History

Dunning Express, Inc. was founded in 2010 to meet the needs of the ever-growing bulk liquid transportation sector in the Midwest. Our company has grown to be one of the industry-leading service providers for both bulk liquid trucking and rail transloading.

Dunning Express Trucking provides economical solutions for local, regional, and long-haul needs. These solutions are found in the combination of fuel efficiency, sustaining a continually renewed fleet of trucks, and supplying in-house truck maintenance to keep our customer’s freight as our main priority.

DFI Rail began in 2016 as we started rail transloading to add value for our customer base. These transloads provide versatility with rail access to multiple class 1 railroads. With a product mix that contains a wide range of commodities, DFI handles the conveying of dry bulk grains, fertilizers, various liquids, and hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.

Our customers utilize DFI as a turnkey solution for their trucking and transloading needs whether we are the origin or the destination.
